LordOS is free and will stay free. Donations help the iPERFEX group keep building it: development time, testing on real hardware and hosting.
A donation is voluntary#
Donating is entirely optional. Everything on lordos.org and in LordOS is available whether you donate or not.
Not a purchase#
A donation is a gift, not a payment for goods or services. In exchange for it you receive no product, license, support, priority, features, influence over the roadmap, or any other benefit. We don't promise any specific result from the money we receive.
Payment processors#
Donations are processed entirely by third parties:
- PayPal (to
paypal@iperfex.com), under PayPal's terms and privacy statement; - Mercado Pago (
link.mercadopago.com.ar/lordos), under Mercado Pago's terms; - Binance, when it becomes available, under Binance's terms.
We never see or store your card or bank details. The processor may charge fees, apply currency conversion, or refuse or reverse a payment under its own rules.
Refunds#
Donations are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. If you donated by mistake (for example, a wrong amount or a duplicated payment), write to us through our contact form within 30 days with the date, the amount and the processor, and we will look at it in good faith.
Taxes#
Donations to LordOS are not tax-deductible. The iPERFEX group is not a registered charity or non-profit organization, and we can't issue tax receipts for donations. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to you.
Who receives them#
Donations are received by iPERFEX (Pablo Miranda and Federico Pereira).
